SOAS Ethical & Islamic Finance Society presentsProgramme proposal · 2027

The next generation
of Islamic finance.

March2027 · London

A student-focused day for ideas, careers and serious conversation about what the field could become.

Important

This summit is in development. The proposal uses Saturday 20 March 2027 as a working date; venue, speakers, partners and registration are not yet confirmed.

The proposition

Not a careers fair with a different name.

A room where students understand which roles exist — and how to enter them.

A programme that treats Islamic finance as a framework for thinking about real problems, not only a sector to find a job in.

A day built for thoughtful access: practical sessions, open questions and relationships that can continue after the closing remarks.

Proposed themes

A field seen from more than one angle.
